Grace Ormonde Bridal Show!

We know we haven't been posting much lately. But with the holiday rush behind us we are going to be posting more frequently now. We are going to be blogging business and personal stuff that we think is cool.

Here is a look at our booth at the 2009 Grace Ormonde Grand Bridal Show. It was a great experience, we made some new friends and we were very happy with all the positive reactions to our booth.

Here are a bunch of our favorites from Karen & Ryan's day. It was an elegant Boston wedding that ended with an intimate & romantic candlelit reception at a killer restaurant in Boston called Mistral.

The grooms brother & best man gave a heartwarming, funny speech that had the bride in tears!

Jessica & Josh's beautiful fall wedding was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. They had a really intimate indoor ceremony, it was obvious that they were totally in love! The weather held out and we got some great shots. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Carrie & Brett's Wedding Day!

Here are our favorites from Carrie & Brett's wedding. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony at sunset. Both the ceremony & reception were held at the Atlantic Beach Club in Newport. Her sister gave one of the best maid of honor speeches we have ever heard. It was absoloutely hysterical and we hope to have a clip of it soon from the videography company.

Carrie & Brett chose to meet before their ceremony, always a beautiful moment to witness!

Here is a shot of the recieving line taken from the inside of their room at the venue. We thought it kind of looks like a fleet of UFO's are invading the wedding!...haha.....But it's just the reflection of the room lighting in the window.

Jayne & Stephen's Wedding!

Apple Hill Farm in Leominster, MA was the setting for Jayne and Stephen's September wedding reception. This wedding was not short on style, with a cool collection of antique cars on loan from family and friends to transport the wedding party.

The rain didn't dampen the spirits of this fun couple. Jayne and her girls girls donned colorful wellingtons for pictures in the orchard and no worry was wasted on muddy hems. In the shots with the umbrellas, you can't tell but it was absolutely pouring out!

Jayne's talented mother - another beautiful Jayne - arranged all of the bouquets for her daughter and the flowers were just stunning!

gift certificates & thank you cards!

With the holidays ahead, we wanted to tell you about some great new cards we recently found and show you our gift certificates. We love the luxurious art paper choices - gorgeous watercolor, linen and pearl (an irridescent, matte finish with a pearlized sparkle) papers that show off photographs beautifully.

Here's a look at some wedding thank you notes we designed recently. The photos don't do the cards total justice. In person, they are very textured and rich.

Jolie's cards are on fine art linen paper.

Pearl paper was perfect for Mandy's cards. She wrote,"They are freaking AWESOME!!!!!! Whoo hoo!!! THANK YOU!" Just what we love to hear!

Christmas and holiday cards are available in the same finishes and various shapes and sizes. We can design everything from traditional cards to slimline to tri-fold, similar to our gift certifcates.

On watercolor paper with parchment envelopes, gift certificates are available for portrait sessions, print purchases or any dollar amount.

We thought you might like to see where we work every day. Cregg has a live/work studio and office in a 1920's grammar school that has been renovated into condos. The builders retained all of the wonderful old elements and architectural details such as the original wood floors and 12 ft tin ceilings. Rumor has it that the school is supposedly haunted but we haven't seen or felt anything out of the ordinary...yet.

In the office, we created a gallery of some of our favorite pics from last year's weddings.

We also came up with a cool system to keep track of orders and important tasks using clothes pins and wire.

Here is the last of Mandy & Joe's sneak preview pics. It was a blast choosing way more favorites than usual. Notice in the ceremony shots, that there is a tear running down Mandy's face and how Joe reaches up during his vows to brush it away. Doesn't get much more romantic than that! It was every bride & groom's nightmare last Thursday when Amanda & Joe were notified by their venue that their long planned wedding was being canceled due to the hurricane weather remnants. The wedding was supposed to happen on Saturday the 6th, and they had to re plan the entire event on Thursday for Friday. It's a case of all's well that ends well as they had an amazing day with perfect weather! We wanted to do something a little special for them, so we are going to be putting up more favorites for them than usual. We will post a nice selection every few days, so check back. Here is just a start. These beautiful portraits are for the groom, we still have a lot of the wedding to go through. We will have more coming very soon!

Here are our favorites from Lauren & Chris's wedding day. The weather was crazy! A huge storm front rolled in just as the kiss happened and it poured. Since the ceremony was out on a dock, everyone ran for cover. Even with the rain, we still got some amazing photos and they were rewarded with the most beautiful sunset! Location: The Regatta Club - Newport, RI
